About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations for a multifamily property/community. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to ensuring all building systems, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including work orders, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Lead and train the maintenance team to ensure timely and quality service.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outside contractors as needed.
Monitor and maintain the property’s appearance, safety, and functionality.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Track maintenance budgets, inventory, and supply needs.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily or commercial property management.
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
