💼 $25/hr | $100 Wednesday + $100 Thursday | Parking covered - rate includes mileage - entire job should be just over an hour
We’re a longstanding showroom at the Pacific Design Center looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help with setup for a tabletop design show at the Culver Hotel (9400 Culver Blvd, Culver City) this Thursday.
📅 Schedule:
Wednesday (Sept 24): 4:30–6:30 PM at the Pacific Design Center
• Help pack and load lightweight trays (approx. 30" x 18"), a roller bag, and a few fabric rolls
• Must have a car with a back seat (sedan is fine — SUV not required)
• Items will be dropped off at a nearby condo on Wilshire — doormen available to assist
• This is the key task — careful handling and transport required
• Flat rate: $100
Thursday (Sept 25): 8:00–10:00 AM at Culver Hotel (optional)
• Pickup up trays and other items on Wilshire Blvd (where dropped off), transport them to the Culver Hotel for the show.
• Assist with setup at the venue
• Flat rate: $100
• If ONLY available for the PDC part of the gig, no problem — items will already be at the condo and can be Ubered to the hotel
🧾 Pay & Perks:
• $25 / hour equivalent
• Parking reimbursement
• Total budget: $200 ($100 - Wednesday / $100 - Thursday)
• Optional additional hours during the show (ends at 4:00 PM) at $25/hr — professional attire required
• Ongoing part-time work available at the showroom (organizing fabric wings, light lifting, etc.) — flexible hours, $100/week max
🧍♀️ Who We’re Looking For:
• Someone who can lift and carry up to 20 lbs and walk through a large building
• Fluent in English (for safety and coordination)
• Respectful, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Bonus if you enjoy interfacing with people — we’re a friendly team
