Jalilvand Law Corporation (JLC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Case Manager to lead and oversee our case management team. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of personal injury case handling from intake through settlement. The Senior Case Manager will supervise a small team of case managers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback while also managing a caseload of their own.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of case managers, providing day-to-day oversight, support, and quality control on active files.
Review team case files for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
Train new case managers and ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures.
Monitor deadlines, medical treatment progress, and insurance communication to keep cases moving efficiently.
Provide regular feedback to case management team members.
Collaborate with attorneys, intake specialists, and demand writers to ensure seamless case progression.
Handle a select caseload, applying advanced knowledge of personal injury processes to maximize case value.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in personal injury case management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong working knowledge of personal injury claims process, including medical treatment timelines, liability issues, and settlement procedures.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
High level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Experience using legal case management software (Filevine preferred).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.
