Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to support ongoing cases and projects.
Assist in the analysis of contracts and other legal documents to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.
Participate in document review processes, summarizing findings and preparing reports for the legal team.
Support attorneys in legal drafting tasks, including memos, briefs, and other necessary documentation.
Collaborate with the General Counsel on various projects to enhance understanding of corporate legal matters.
Attend meetings and take notes to capture key points for future reference.
Maintain organized files and documentation to ensure easy access for the legal team.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically assess contracts and legal documents.
Familiarity with legal research methodologies and tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of paralegal duties is a plus but not required.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
