A litigation law firm specializing in plaintiff-side class actions and Private Attorney General Act group actions is seeking an associate attorney with 2-5 years experience for a position at a Westside of Los Angeles law firm. The candidate will (a) work with other attorneys in all aspects of cases from filing of the complaint to trial, (b) draft motions and opposition papers, (c) take and defend depositions, (d) assist in all phases of discovery, and (e) participate in state and federal court hearings and appearances. The position presents an opportunity to become an experienced employment wage and hour lawyer and be part of important class actions and group actions.
The firm is an established firm that has been focusing on class actions and Private Attorney General Act group actions for over 18 years. We litigate cases throughout California and have certified cases to proceed on a class action basis on behalf of tens of thousands of employees against Fortune 500 companies. The firm has had several note-worthy published appellate opinions by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals relating to important issues in employment law.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of litigation experience, with employment and wage and hour litigation helpful.
