Both experienced and also newly admitted attorneys wanting to learn Real Estate law are welcome to apply. Including a solo or semi-retired practitioner looking for supplemental work.
Business is growing and we are hiring new attorneys to support the growth.
We are seeking a licensed California attorney with experience in Real Estate. This position is designated for an attorney who enjoys issue-spotting, and refining legal documents without the demands of full caseload management.
Review and provide substantive feedback on Real Estate selection and documents, including:
Visiting offered property to gage a purchase offer L.O.I.
Identify legal, structural, and drafting purchase L.O.I. and recommended property revisions.
Ensure documents are internally consistent and align with our planning objectives.
Flag state-specific compliance issues and best practice considerations.
Assist with periodic property updates and standard provisions as laws or firm practices evolve.
Qualifications:
Active license to practice law in all California jurisdictions (good standing required).
Minimum 3-5 years of Real Estate experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Real Estate Leasing strategies, and fiduciary roles.
High attention to detail and strong issue-spotting skills.
Ability to work independently and meet agreed upon turnaround times.
Prior experience in Real Estate investment firm or private practice is a plus.
Flexible, part- time hours (estimated 10-20 hours per week, depending on volume)
Remote work available; secure document access provided.
No client meetings required (unless mutually agreed to make lease amendments).
