Whatsup guys? I’m Max, a professional guitarist/guitar teacher based in Los Angeles and I'm now offering guitar lessons to a limited number of students!
I'm USC educated and have 13 years of Guitar teaching experience and 22 years of playing experience . I've taught in private, online and in classroom settings. I also used to work as the second in command at Marty Music- Youtube's biggest guitar teaching channel.
I teach all ages and all levels, and will personalize your lesson plan based on your goals and interests as a guitarist.
Are you a beginner who’s just starting out? I’ll get you making music your first lesson and dispel the notion that guitar playing is just for those who have ‘natural talent’ or are ‘musically inclined’.
Are you an intermediate player who’s hit a plateau? I’ll redirect you and show you tips and tricks that will open new doors, reignite your passion for guitar and save you massive amounts of frustration.
Looking to learn music theory? I’ll break down the basic building blocks of what I call “functional music theory.” In the process, I’ll help demystify, and simplify music theory so you can actually use it in your playing!
Want to write songs? I studied songwriting extensively in college, I’ve written hundreds of songs for TV and Commercials, and have collaborated on songs with multiplatinum songwriters, major labels and Grammy winning producers- so I can help with that too!
