CookEat is a fast-growing marketplace app that connects local chefs with customers looking for chef-prepared, homemade food. We’re building a community of amazing food creators and food lovers — and we need your help to spread the word at upcoming Los Angeles food fairs!
Role & Responsibilities
As a CookEat Student Ambassador, you will:
📍 Walk around the food fair visiting food vendor booths
🤝 Introduce yourself and CookEat to vendors and attendees
📱 Explain who we are and what we do
📇 Collect contact info (email/phone) from interested vendors/attendees
📲 Help people download the app if they’re interested
📝 Provide a short summary of responses and leads after the event
👉 You won’t have your own booth or stand — you’ll be moving around and engaging with people throughout the fair.
Ideal Candidate
You are:
Outgoing, confident, and good at talking with people, a student.
Comfortable using a phone/tablet to show/download apps
Organized in gathering contacts
Friendly and professional
Bonus if you’re familiar with social media (especially Instagram/TikTok).
Event Details
📅 Event: End of January/Early February
📍 Location: Food Fair in Los Angeles
🕐 Hours: 9am-4pm (you’ll be paid for your time there)
Compensation
💵 $15
✔ Paid for time spent working at the event + bonus (marketing target)
✔ Opportunity to gain real experience with outreach and event representation
