Interior Design Project Manager (Venice)

compensation: $35+ per hour depending on level of skills, and software proficiency.

Small boutique residential and commercial design firm seeks a project manager. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and a self motivated individual who is collaborative and has a minimum of three years full-time experience working for an interior design firm. Candidates will be expected to help principal manage multiple projects, create proposals, purchase orders, manage vendors and timelines, create schedules and specifications, budget management, help manage installations, track orders, edit and create CAD drawings, manage office, maintain supplies, assist on installations.

Additional Skills: Able to work independently, has at least 3 years of experience working for an interior design firm, can problem solve, and is meticulous in both their work and in helping keep the office and systems organized.

Software Proficiency:
-AutoCAD - Intermediate. Must be able to read and draft furniture plans, custom furniture designs, title blocks, sheet sets, RCP, elevations, millwork, details.
-Studio Designer - Proficient in Studio Designer or similiar program. Will need to enter estimates, items, proposals, purchase orders, vendor contact info, etc.
-Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
-Photoshop and Sketchup - Not required but a bonus.

Bright and sunny office 2 blocks from the beach on the canals. Owner brings small dogs to office so must be ok with dogs. Please live in Los Angeles and have a reliable vehicle, and able to commute to westside office and/or projects mainly on westside. Open to part-time around 30 hours per week up to full-time 40 hours per week.
