We are seeking a highly experienced and talented CNC Operator that takes pride in his/her workmanship and professionalism.
The operator will be able to do as many of the functions of a CNC Machinist as possible.
CNC Machinist duties:
-Produce machined parts by setting up and operating CNC LATHES
-Read and understand set-up sheets and blueprints
-Measure and inspect parts
-Maintain quality and safety standards
-Maintain equipment, tools, fixtures, and supplies
-Complete job travelers and other documents
Specific qualifications for the CNC Operator position include:
-Experience as a CNC Operator
-Ability to understand and edit CNC Programs
-Ability to maintain and operate CNC Lathes
-Ability to select and setup proper cutting tools as specified in CNC programs
-Ability to read blueprints, process written and verbal instructions
-Must be able to work well with a team.
-Must be dependable with good attendance and able to adhere to timelines and schedules.
-Ability to meet +/-.001” tolerances
-Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) as needed
-Strong verbal communication skills
-Ability to lift 30 lbs.
