Rare Tascam mixer with BIG 80's KNOBS and ear pleasing detailed FAT sound pre-amplifiers. Warm and round. Perfect for any home recording artist or high fidelity enthusiast. 2 MIC IN (no 48v power) channels. 4 Line IN for your 4track or computer audio or whatever u want. Send and receive on all channels to hook up pedals or outboard efx. Stereo Out to Line Out and AUX out. I have it going to computer and speakers. Headphones out. Board has a lot of flexibility.
Tech went through it and fixed all rca connectors and gave it a tune up. A very faint noise is audible (maybe a shielding issue), but cannot be heard unless u are listening for it. Line 3 in has a funny pre amp, (probably needs to be opened up and cleaned with deoxit). It does work though.
Love the look (its art) and size. Fits nicely on a desk next to computer and doesn't take up much space. VU meters gets levels correct and are always fun. These VU meters are super cute. Science lab from the 80's vibe.
The history:
Tascam had the idea to make a modular mixer with no switches. So...u have an Rca patchbay to route audio. Unlike anything I've ever seen before, easy to get once u understand it. Loads of fun for the right person. Selling for a friend who is clearing out a bunch of studio gear.
