Super rare all solid wood Takamine. This one is in excellent condition, plays very nicely with low action, and has lot of life left in the well polished frets. I don’t know a lot about this guitar other than it is made in Japan, has solid rosewood back and sides, solid bearclaw spruce top, ebony fretboard, and sounds great. I mean, this guitar is wonderful. The top does have a couple of dings in the finish which you can’t even see from 4 feet away, which makes it a perfect instrument for gigging, since you won’t need to be precious with it. The sound is well balance like solid rosewood is so good at, even when amplified through a regular amp; it would probably kill on a acoustic amp. The preamp works like its supposed to, and has a built in tuner. The tuners work fine so no need to upgrade. I don’t know if the nut and saddle are bone or tusq. Comes with hard shell case, which is a little scratched up but works well enough. $2,000.
