Takamine - Solid Rosewood/Bearclaw Top - $1,800 (Torrance)

Super rare all solid wood Takamine. This one is in excellent condition, plays very nicely with low action, and has lot of life left in the well polished frets. I don’t know a lot about this guitar other than it is made in Japan, has solid rosewood back and sides, solid bearclaw spruce top, ebony fretboard, and sounds great. I mean, this guitar is wonderful. The top does have a couple of dings in the finish which you can’t even see from 4 feet away, which makes it a perfect instrument for gigging, since you won’t need to be precious with it. The sound is well balance like solid rosewood is so good at, even when amplified through a regular amp; it would probably kill on a acoustic amp. The preamp works like its supposed to, and has a built in tuner. The tuners work fine so no need to upgrade. I don’t know if the nut and saddle are bone or tusq.
