Still under warranty, purchased earlier this year. Includes perpetual A41B software license and all original items: power cable, USB-C software control cable with USB3 adapter.
Purchased from Vintage King here in LA earlier this year alongside a WA1B (also for sale) and a CL1B for a shootout video I recorded. It was only used for the shootout and has lived in its original box ever since. NEW - Never been racked - Mint condition, no scratches, works flawlessly, and sounds excellent. The software recall is very useful as you can dial in different settings for each session, presets per singer or microphone, and also use it in a sidecar or distant rack and just dial in the settings with the plugin.
It's very close to the CL1B - even closer than the WA1B in my opinion due to the extra low-end weight. It also outperformed every plugin I compared it against, including the Tim Petherick Opto 1B, Softube, Kiive, and the Retro 176. In A/B tests, vocals consistently sounded clearer, sat on top of the mix more naturally, and could take 10dB+ of gain reduction without sounding compressed.
A solid mic, preamp, and this compressor are really all you need for an excellent vocal chain. I'm also selling a WA73-EQ and a Sphere microphone if you're interested in building a complete setup.
For anyone curious, my preferred female vocal chain is: Sphere (OW 251 or BP67) > WA73 driven slightly > WA73-EQ with a boost at 110Hz and a touch of 16k > A41B at 2:1 with 3-7dB of gain reduction. Very much a "set it and forget it" chain.
