What’s up Craigslist,
I’ve written and recorded 6 original doom metal tracks (around 5–7 minutes each). Right now they’re solid demos, full rhythm sections, lead ideas, and a consistent vibe but they’re built off a single drum pattern and no bass yet.
The intention is NOT to keep them as-is. I’m specifically looking for the right people to help shape, expand, and bring these songs to life as a band. I want this to feel like our music, not a solo project with parts added on.
I’ll be handling vocals and rhythm guitar, and for now lead guitar as wellbut I’m completely open to evolving roles later if it makes the music stronger.
The sound is rooted in heavy metal / classic doom slow, heavy, atmospheric, and intentional.
Vocals:
Deep, haunting, tragic, heavy more atmospheric and epic than aggressive. Not hardcore/screamo style.
What I’m looking for:
• Drummer who understands space, patience, groove, and dynamics (not just playing straight through)
• Bassist who can add depth, movement, and atmosphere to the songs
• People who want to write together, not just play parts
• Bonus if you can record yourself
• Serious about actually finishing a record and building something real
I’m very open creatively so Iif you hear better transitions, tempo changes, extended sections, or completely new ideas, I want to explore that. The demos are a starting point, not a finished product.
I’m keeping the tracks private for now, but I’m happy to share them once there’s mutual interest.
Logistics:
I can’t host full rehearsals at my place, so ideally we rehearse at your space or split a studio a couple times a week while developing the material.
Goal:
Finish a cohesive 6–8 album debut, then move into:
• Music videos
• Local LA shows
• Building something long-term and meaningful
I’ve already got some social media presence, so there’s a bit of momentum to build from.
If you’re into doom and want to actually create something heavy and intentional as a group, hit me up.
I’m easygoing, collaborative, and serious about making something great.
Outside of music: I skate, hang with my wife and our three dogs, and keep life balanced.
Let’s build something.
