The Opportunity
Habibi Law APC is hiring a Legal Assistant to work directly under our Senior Legal Assistant in a high-performance workers’ compensation defense practice.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already understands California workers’ compensation defense workflows and wants to sharpen their execution in a structured, fast-scaling firm.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
* Handling EAMS filings with accuracy and speed
* Organizing and summarizing medical records for defense strategy
* Preparing files for hearings (trial-readiness mindset)
* Maintaining files to audit-ready standards at all times
* Supporting attorneys and senior staff in a high-volume defense environment

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
* Prior experience in California Workers’ Compensation DEFENSE
* Working knowledge of EAMS
* Experience handling active litigation files (not just admin work)
* Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment
