This collections of Tangka painting are 9x11, fitted to about a 10x12 picture frame
These paintings were sourced locally by me in Leh, Ladakh, northern India. They are hand painted by local monks and their artwork is taught to them by a master teacher at the monetary as apprenticeship. They are painted using local rock & plant dyes available , & to get such fine detail, theyll use a magnifying glass along with a brush with a single yak hair.
