This is a nice condition, original, chrome grille frame and aluminum insert panel with trim strips for the Mercedes w108 and w109 cars, such as the 280S, etc. NOTE: this is the newer model of the series with 5 sections between ribs and the large star ornament hole. Chrome is bright and shiny with no dents or ugly scratches. The insert has the expected oxidation that could be polished clean. The horizontal trim strips are OK, not all bent up; the center vertical one does have a couple of dents (see pictures). There are some rubs where the ornament and flat star emblem were attached. On the back side, there is rust pitting and I have put rust converter on the lower corners; no rust-through places. A nice driving quality grille. I only accept US$ cash for payment.
