This exhaust has approximately 5,000 miles on it and is in excellent shape, view photos for the most recent smog check this passed.
I replaced this exhaust on my Vanagon with a gowesty version because according to online reports, the gowesty exhaust is quieter than this one. I recently had to do some engine work that required most of the exhaust to be removed so I went ahead and replaced it since the labor was done. Unfortunately, this exhaust system is quieter than the gowesty version! The gowesty muffler has an incredibly low tone that booms in the cabin, and does not offer the increase in power that the RMW version does, which features a tri-y design. I will take the loss and not undergo the labor to swap this one back in.
