I have one very nice fully furnished bedroom available on or around December 1st for $1350 per month. I can be flexible on the move-in date. There will also be a small $750 fully refundable security deposit. WiFi and all utilities ~ water, electricity and gas ~ are included in the monthly rent. I prefer short term rentals from 1 to 3 months, as I enjoy meeting new people, though longer terms will be considered.
I am open to possibly allowing two friends ~ platonic only, no couples please ~ to share the room for a slightly higher monthly rent of $1600 per month. This room is very nice and has a high-quality, comfortable queen size bed, large teak armoire and wall length closet for clothes and storage, as well as a desk, chair and lamp ~ see several photos above. I especially enjoy learning about other cultures so I give preference to visitors from other countries; however all will be considered. I supply everything you need including clean, high-quality, organic-cotton bed linens, bath towels, etc.
My apartment is light and bright with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, located in a very safe area, conveniently close to public transportation, the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and The Third Street Promenade. You will have full access to a kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and eating utensils. There is also a laundry on site. I am a respectful, professional male, and I occupy one bedroom that has its own bathroom. I am vegetarian and would prefer to find someone who does not plan to cook or eat meat in the apartment. I would describe the apartment as friendly and serene, social yet very laid back. No smoking. No drugs. Drinking is okay. Environmentally minded household: recycle everything possible, LED light bulbs everywhere to save electricity, and only all natural cleaning products used.
You should be neat and clean, keeping your room and all common areas neat and picked up, dishes washed when done eating, etc. Please be social and friendly and enjoy meeting new people. Any age is fine as long as you are mature enough to take care of a nice place and to pay your portion of the rent on time. If interested, respond by telling as much about yourself as possible: at the very least, include your age, where you are from, when you want to move in, approximately how long you plan to stay, what you will be doing while in Santa Monica (student/working/vacation/etc.), and anything else you are willing to share.
