The apartment is in one of the most desirable neighborhoods Los Angeles (Ocean Park). It's a quiet and safe neighborhood in Santa Monica, just a 12-minute walk from the beach (Tower 26 by the beach volleyball and beach tennis courts). It's located close to the 10 and walking distance from Ocean Park Beach, Rose Ave, Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, Venice Beach, Whole Foods, Gelsons, and Main Street in Santa Monica (which has a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars).
About Us:
I'm a 39-year-old male who works in tech sales, and I've lived in Santa Monica for 7 years. I grew up in Toronto and moved down to escape the cold and soak up more of the Californian lifestyle. I typically work from a local co-working space during the weekdays. On weekends, I'm usually at the beach playing beach volleyball or beach tennis and enjoying live music from time to time. I enjoy playing beach volleyball, biking, and camping. I share a room with my girlfriend, who works from home as a freelance makeup artist and baker.
Our roommate is a 39-year-old male who works for the VA as a Social Worker at a local office. He grew up in Texas, but has lived in Southern California for several years. He likes to hit the beach to play volleyball and enjoys practicing yoga on the front lawn on weekends.
We keep the place clean and split the cost of a maid every two weeks for the hard-to-reach spots. Utilities (including high-speed internet, gas stove, and maid service) cost a total of $100 - $150/month. There's plenty of available street parking (not zoned) and a garage to store bikes.
