Are you a disciplined security professional who thrives in a high-energy environment? We are looking for a sharp, observant, and reliable Armed Security Guard to join our team at a premier restaurant located right on the iconic Venice Beach boardwalk.
As the late-night anchor of our safety team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for our guests and staff during our busiest late-night hours.
The Details
Location: Venice Beach, CA
Shift: Part-Time | 9:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Pay: $23-$25
Key Responsibilities
Visual Deterrence: Maintain a high-visibility presence to discourage disruptive behavior.
Access Control: Manage entry points and monitor the perimeter during late-night service.
Conflict De-escalation: Use professional communication to resolve disputes calmly and effectively.
Safety Rounds: Conduct regular foot patrols of the dining area, patio, and immediate exterior.
Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for security incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement if necessary.
Proven experience in armed security (hospitality or nightlife experience is a major plus).
Ability to stand and patrol for the duration of a 6-hour shift.
Professional demeanor: You can be firm when necessary but remain polite to guests.
Reliable transportation to Venice Beach.
