Quiet, sober creative professional seeking room/guest house (Westside) (Santa Monica / Venice / Marina del Rey / Playa del Rey / Cul)

I’m sober 20+ years with a strong program and live a very healthy lifestyle. I don’t drink, smoke, or use any substances. Long‑time vegan, now adding in some fish and healthy proteins. I’m an avid cyclist, skateboarder, and outdoor person, and I spend a lot of time outside rather than at home.
Day‑to‑day, I’m low‑key and minimalist: few possessions, no clutter, no loud music or late‑night traffic. I really value natural light, greenery, and being near the ocean and/or good hiking/biking. I’m excellent with pets, plants, and gardens, and handy around the house – I design furniture, do upholstery, paint, and enjoy helping improve a space if that’s useful.
Ideally looking for:
• Private bedroom and bathroom (guest room, pool house, ADU, or similar)
• Some kitchen access
• Westside / near the coast
• Month‑to‑month or longer, starting as soon as possible
I’d be a great fit for someone with extra space who wants a calm, reliable, like‑minded person in the house – maybe you’re an empty nester, artist, or just reconfiguring your life and space. I can also help with occasional house‑sitting if you travel.
