We’re AI4IP, a 6-person startup building the next generation of generative AI software for AI power users, sports teams, and brands.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer who’s both classically trained and drastically AI-enabled — someone who knows strong computer science fundamentals but now builds faster and smarter using tools like Claude Code, Copilot, and custom AI setups.
You’ll be joining a small, elite team where you’ll have major impact on architecture, infrastructure, and the future of our platform. We primarily work remotely but we meet regularly and so all candidates *must* be in the LA area.
You’ll:
- Build full-stack systems using Python, TypeScript, React, and LLMs
- Work across backend, AI, and context-engineering layers
- Ship fast and iterate on real products
- Customize your AI dev setup to work smarter every week
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and creative teammates
You:
- Have a strong CS foundation (data structures, architecture, systems)
- Are experienced with Python, TypeScript, and React
- Understand LLMs, APIs, and context engineering
- Have shipped real products end-to-end
- While a primarily remote role, candidates must be in the LA or SoCal area
- Love using AI tools to code faster and smarter
