Description:
This detached one-room studio guest house has a separate entrance through the backyard of the main house, a 1920s Spanish Bungalow. Your own private space - come and go as you please! The studio is approximately 225 sq. ft. (a bit smaller than the average size of a hotel room). Are you town for an internship, a digital nomad, travel nurse, or relocating and looking for a soft place to land before finding your forever LA spot? It could be a good fit!
Furnished with a comfy queen bed, nightstand with two drawers, desk and chair for workspace, wardrobe to hang and store your clothes, bathroom with stand-up shower, and sofa/futon and coffee table lounging area. Bathroom is small but functional, with shelving, hooks, and stand-up tile shower. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, electric two-burner stove, small countertop and shelving, and comes with dishes, cookware, and flatware. Please note that there is not a full stove or fridge, and no kitchen sink, so if you're a home chef it may not work for you, but small meals are doable.
French doors open into the courtyard, where you'll find a fruitful orange tree, outdoor dining area, as well as a fire pit. Enjoy your coffee or a glass of a wine, and relax! Guests have private, unlimited use of the studio itself, and access to the back yard, which is shared with me, my husband, our baby daughter and our senior pup, Roo. She's all of 9 pounds and very friendly! Please only get in touch if you're comfortable with dogs.
The neighborhood is super walkable - 2 blocks to downtown Culver City, where you'll find a Trader Joe's, the Culver Movie Theatre, Erewhon, tons of great restaurants, and the Culver Steps. The Palms Expo Line stop is also a couple blocks walk.
E-mail for a Facetime tour and we schedule an in-person tour from there! Thanks!
