BARNARD WAY near SPEEDWAY
1BR / 1Ba 144ft2 available now
Greetings everyone, and thank you for opening my invitation to share what I feel is my sacred space across the street from the beautiful South Santa Monica beach and park. I feel this is in one of the premier locations to live, on the planet!

I have a nice, clean, private, fully furnished room, with a partial view the beach and the mountains. There is an organic futon couch that opens to a standard-size bed, a nice dresser, a new desk with a laptop and desktop computer with a monitor, 2 office-style chairs, a single closet, and best of all a window with a limited view of the beach and mountains and a consistent ocean breeze creating a delightful surf lullaby to put you to sleep!. I even have an almost new, $3k, step thru, electric bicycle for you to enjoy!

In exchange for all of this, I would like you to assist me with my day to day challenges These consist of some basic cooking, and house cleaning duties, laundry, shopping, and assisting me with my scheduling, bill paying, and other business correspondence. Some intermediate computer assistance would be a plus. I also have a job opportunity, working from home 3 hours/day that might interest you.

Minimal hours with generous compensation is open for negotiation. I want this to be a win-win situation for both of us!.

The entire unit has been recently remodeled with a functional shared, kitchen and appealing bathroom. My bed is in the open living room, and as one of my 18 symptoms is, sleep disorder, I frequently need to take naps a few times a day. The person I choose would preferably be, outside the home, (job, school, play, etc.) during much of the daytime hours. For health and spiritual reasons, there are some restrictions. As I consider this to be a sacred space, any alcohol, tobacco, recreational drugs and non plant based food products will not be allowed!

I'm an 82 year-young, straight, gentle, Canadian, male, who is a serious, (but not overbearing) spiritual practitioner. I consider myself to be a non-threatening. fun-loving, physically active, animal and politically progressive activist. I have been a vegetarian for 45 years, and an organic vegan for the past 25. Prior to this I was a law enforcement officer, a school teacher and a business executive.

In 1992 I became challenged with fibromyalgia syndrome, (a disorder with a specific group of symptoms and no known cause or treatment). I have 18 of those symptoms, which come and go with various degrees of intensity and duration. Unable to work I lived very frugally off of my savings for five years. I finally ran out of money and became homeless. After bouncing around from shelter to shelter for a couple of years I was miraculously, invited to live in a delightful apartment run by The Homes For Life Foundation". Many more blessings followed. After being on the waiting list for 12 years, I was accepted into this section 8, senior low-income building! After another 6 years on the transfer list, which miraculously took me from the least attractive unit to the most attractive one, with an ocean view, in this clean, quiet, 100-unit building was indeed another great blessing!. The Sea Colony I condo, 20 yards to the north of me is currently listed for $3,900,000. Location rules.

I consider myself to be very clean and orderly and am early to bed and early to rise (9 pm - 3 am). My friends have shared with me that I am generally thought of as, caring, compassionate, dependable, grateful, generous, loving, respectful, and quiet. I strive to meet their perceptions and more. These are also the qualities that I am looking for in a candidate.

I now am able to see this mysterious syndrome as a blessing in disguise. It gives me time to contemplate, meditate, exercise and take my bike out for a joy ride on the beach bike path . Also, I see it as a more gentle, although prolonged protocol for eliminating my karmic debt.

If you identify with my small list of preferred qualities, please give me a sufficient amount of information, as I did for you, so that I can adequately determine whether I intuitively resonate with you enough to take it to the interview level. First impressions are very impactful and of course, you never get a second one! So make it exceptional! I am very particular with regard to maintaining the tranquil energy of this sanctuary.

A resume, personal references, background check, verifiable income, a recent photo, and an interview with management are absolutely required. Any social media accounts you subscribe to would assist me in the process.
The room is available now, but can take a few weeks for management approval prior to moving in!

UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO MY ENERGY LIMITATIONS I WILL ONLY GET BACK TO YOU IF YOU PROVIDE ME WITH ENOUGH INFORMATION THAT I NEED TO CONSIDER YOU AS A CANDIDATE AND A MATCH!

SURPRISINGLY, MANY DO NOT AND WE BOTH LOOSE OUT ON WHAT I THINK IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY!

Blessings do happen,

David
