I have an H.P. Elitebook 840 G5 which is "UNLOCKED", meaning that the BIOS Password has been removed.
It uses a Core i5-8350u, with 4 physical cores, and 8 logical processors (hyper-threading enabled). See pics.
There are 16Gigs of RAM, and 512Gigs of Samsung SSD memory, with a fresh install of Windows 11, LibreOffice, and
VLC Media Player. The unit comes with an AC to DC wall charger, and the battery still holds a good charge.
The only minor issue, is that an "HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem" window will pop up during boot-up (see pics),
but this is not a big deal, since you only have to press the "ESC" button once, and Windows 11 will then boot-up normally.
This issue is probably related to the removal of the BIOS password.
I'm asking $130 cash, or Best Offer. I am in the Redondo Beach area.
