EmotionAI has the potential to help humanity balance the impact of a cognitive system that has been dramatically enhanced without a parallel enhancement of wisdom or emotional self-regulation. Our team at WiderPath has developed a computational neuroscience course that helps you learn how your brain functions and how to manage emotions. Going through the course will enable you to develop insights about your own emotional trajectory, and it will help us develop our emotion AI model. You will also be a part of helping other people as your insights are incorporated into the tool we're building.
What to Expect:
3 days of guided group interaction (in-person)
Wednesday 02/11 9am-9pm
Thursday 02/12 9am-9pm
Friday 02/13 9am-9pm
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments will be provided.
We will take some breaks over the course of the day, but please be prepared to be attentive. These are long days.
Open and respectful conversation about personal life experiences and emotional responses. Please note, we are seeking people who are willing to share their thoughts and feelings. The experience will not be successful for us or for you if you remain completely closed throughout.
The full experience is filmed for data capture purposes. The video will not be used for promotional purposes or posted publicly.
There will be 3 surveys to complete throughout the process.
There is a possibility of longer term participation–details will be provided during the event.
Confidentiality is respected and maintained throughout the duration of the in-person and remote processes.
We are looking for individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences to participate.
Eligibility/Compensation:
Comfortable discussing personal experiences in a small group setting
Fluent in English
Compensation: $1,000 for full participation. Payment will be provided at the end of the final day of the session.
