compensation: You will be paid $150 for the approximately 2-3 hour filming shoot

I am a clinical psychologist and a filmmaker and I have created a mental health program for middle and high schools that shows stories of real teens overcoming struggle, and uses these videos as a platform for self-reflection and class discussion. These programs help students know they are not alone when they are going through something hard, and teach them skills for dealing with all the things that teenagers have to go through (bullying, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, gender/identity, drugs/vaping/alcohol, body image/eating, school stress, parent/family issues etc).

This program saves lives and if you want to be a part of it, you will be helping millions of other teens worldwide!

Here is a link to the program overview so you can see what the program is about:

I also create a high quality youtube video (IF YOU WANT) out of the footage, here is an example:

All that is required of you is to be filmed at a location of your choosing, telling your story of something hard you have been through and how you overcame it. The filming will take place between July and September 2019, and we will schedule you in as soon as possible.

I am looking for a variety of people - different genders, ethnicities, backgrounds, and struggles they have faced. If you have gone through something hard and are able to reflect on HOW IT HELPED YOU GROW, your story can help others!

PLEASE SEND A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF YOUR STRUGGLE, HOW YOU OVERCAME IT, YOUR AGE, YOUR PREFERRED FILMING LOCATION, AND A PHOTO OF YOURSELF.

PARENT/GUARDIAN PERMISSION REQUIRED.
