Type: Casting Call (Non-union). First meet/sail not filmed. Only to see the vessel and determine whether you would be interested in participating.
About the Show:
We’re casting women ages 30–40 for a new reality/docu-series exploring the confluence of sailing and meditation. (We will later cast for men, after women are cast). Sailing videos are one of the most popular content channels on YoutTube, and mainstream media. You’ll learn hands-on seamanship while practicing presence—short silent sessions, gentle mantras, and mindful teamwork. The journey matters more than the destination.
What You’ll Do:
Participate in periods of silence (guided + independent)
Learn basic sailing skills: deck work, safety, knot-tying (bowline, clove hitch, figure-eight, etc.)
Practice simple mantras/tea rituals/breathwork woven into the day
Crew on day sails along the SoCal coast (weather dependent)

Who We’re Seeking
Women 30–40, fit/athletic, comfortable moving on a boat
Ocean sports appetite a big plus (surfing, wakeboarding, paddling, open-water swimming)
Calm under pressure, team-oriented, and open to reflective practices
Prior sailing not required
Filming & Privacy
No filming at the first meet-and-greet/day sail (skills + vibe check)
Filming begins only after mutual green-light and signed releases
Safety first; no drugs/alcohol on board; respect for weather and crew
