CAREER OPPORTUNITY!
We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Waterproofing Foreman to lead our field crews on residential and/or commercial waterproofing projects. This is a hands-on leadership role (working foreman) responsible for supervising crew members, ensuring high-quality installation, strict safety compliance (OSHA), and meeting project deadlines. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in moisture protection systems and strong mentoring skills to drive productivity. This position offers a clear growth path to a Superintendent role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Field Leadership & Mentoring: Lead a crew of 2+ technicians, assigning daily tasks and providing hands-on training on waterproofing methods.
* System Installation: Oversee and install waterproofing systems, including below-grade waterproofing, hot-applied waterproofing, membranes, air barriers, and joint sealants.
* Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and manufacturer specifications to ensure accurate installation.
* Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to ensure work complies with company standards, building codes, and manufacturer requirements, correcting deficiencies immediately.
* Safety Enforcement: Enforce OSHA standards, company safety policies, and conduct daily toolbox talks.
* Documentation & Reporting: Complete daily reports, including labor tracking, progress updates, and material usage via company iPad/tablet (e.g., CompanyCam, TSheets).
* Resource Management: Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for daily operations to maximize crew efficiency.
* Client Liaison: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, building management, or general contractors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in construction, ideally in waterproofing, drainage, or foundation repair.
* Leadership: Proven experience leading a construction crew or acting as a lead journeyman.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of waterproofing membranes, coatings, sealants, and surface preparation preferred.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 60+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied weather conditions (heat/cold).
* Certifications: OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
* Licensure: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience with concrete restoration or specialized coatings.
