We are a fast growing, well established genetics company. We built the company from the ground up and completely self funded, no outside investors. Our office is located directly on Venice beach and we have a results oriented while laid back atmosphere. Our mission is to unlock complex information in our DNA and present it to individuals in an easy to understand way, thereby allowing individuals to learn more about themselves through genetics testing. Our mission is also to utilize genetic analysis in solving complex medical subjects and discover
novel information with the goal of improving human life and furthering our
understanding of genetics.

We are looking for an amazing database, magento, php, backend developer, with over 4+ years experience, and strong drive for personal growth and development. Initially we will need you to build out a full internal shopping cart and system, integrated into our marketing, and existing user interface, then grow into AI applications for internal use.

What you will do:
- First goal will be to develop a full shopping cart & integrate with our front end
- Work with genetic databases to develop reporting
- Synthesize new information from multiple databases
- Develop new software based products and consumer oriented reports
- Build out AI based approaches to solving problems, questions related to healthcare and genetics
- Help develop the Tesla of genetics and make positive impact on the world

What we look for in you:
Solid PHP Skills with 4+ years of development experience.
Experience using a Full Stack Framework such as Symfony, CakePHP.
Familiar with PHP CMS Solutions like Wordpress.
Ability to build and integrate with API's.
Solid experience with relational database concepts, including design, administration, security, optimization and SQL reporting.
Advanced knowledge of Apache, Linux, DNS, Sessions, Cookies.
Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience of object-oriented design and MVC programming requirements.
Familiar with Git, Docker, AWS, Linux, SSH, SFTP.
Familiar with building payment systems, shopping carts, and user tracking.
Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a constantly changing environment.
Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
