Hello, fellow matter what age or level, from beginner to advanced ~ to ESL (English as a Second Language) needing help - to your maybe being published!

(Have worked with many foreigners as well as native-English speakers/Americans, here in Los Angeles! I also teach ESL, assisting with your ESL speaking, writing and related language needs! - I have another ad for teaching - will share upon request.)

Every writer needs a good editor - or even a rewrite writer!

For websites, letters/emails for business etc.; papers, essays, articles, books, and more...:

ARE YOU USING THE BEST ENGLISH...grammar, spelling/punctuation, word usage, paragraphing; transitions smooth, etc.?!

Again, emphasized: besides writing/editing, I also tutor English & writing in English.

Do you have your (accurate) facts?
Is it opinion or fact?

Are your opinions based on solid facts and reasonable assumptions?
Is your surmising - reasonable?

Do you use good, accurate, and solid analogies and comparisons?
Do you "grab" your readers?
Does the writing flow and read easily?

Does the wording really say it like you want?
Is there room for misunderstanding? if so, we'll work together to fix it!

Are there more than one/a few viewpoints given so that more of the "whole picture" is seen?

Does the entire writing relate to your main theme or purpose?
Is it well organized?

Does it flow smoothly?

Who will be reading your writing? Are you truly communicating to and with THEM?

Of course, are grammar, spelling, punctuation, wording, paragraphing - intact?
And is there enough feeling in your writing?

It's essentially a journey in thinking - no matter how simple or complex the material.

Have published in Education and the Arts...and edited numerous projects and styles of writing.

"EDITOR II" at the University of Oregon School of Educational Administration / Ed-Psych - 6 years, published

Freelance editing of students' work (from K to undergrad college) as well as grad-students', professors' and some authors' work: articles, theses, dissertations, a few books - many for publishing...

More recent: proofing/editing/rewriting/writing - Los Angeles

(ALL KINDS OF MATERIAL, e.g., essays, brochures, reports, legal docs, books, articles, other student projects, screenplays, websites, etc..) For students: I will not do the original writing/thinking for a class (and I don't think the teacher or professor wants that, either!), but I will help you write, and help you edit.

A recent large project: a philosophical book which includes poetic prose as well as other modes of writing. Two volumes.

Review from the author:

"Julieanna was pivotal is helping bring my book to life. Her attention to detail demonstrated her thoughtfulness to the project I was working on. I appreciated her creativity in the editing process as we would dialogue themes and word choices. Julieanna helped create a poetic structure that was necessary to the formation of my book that brings an artistic flow and clarity to the reader. Thank you for your hard work!"

Pastor and author, Nathan Cherney
