When you send your script to agents or producers, you want them to love the story and not be distracted by typos and grammatical errors. Make sure your screenplay has no mistakes by hiring me to proofread and polish it. I'm an experienced screenwriter and journalist, who edits scripts and treatments for a small fee.
I was a Story Analyst/Reader for 20th Century Fox in New York and participated in Columbia Pictures Television's Writing Workshop. I also directed an international film festival and have organized multiple events for filmmakers. I have served as a judge for the Cable Ace Awards, the American Film Festival, the Margaret Mead Film Festival, and the French Short Film Fair.
A screenplay that I polished was recently produced as an independent feature, starring Kevin Sorbo. I edited a treatment for a SciFi Action film and revised a biographical script about Dennis Hopper. You can read my coverage of a Writers Guild genre conference at insidefilm.com.
I've written eleven original screenplays in various genres and one book adaptation. One of my romantic comedies was optioned by an indie producer, who heard from a production company that my script was "incredibly well written." I have developed full scripts for clients from outlines, short stories, or treatments. Several of my screenplays were contest or Sundance Lab finalists.
I hold English teaching credentials from the state of New Jersey and have taught English at the college level. My BA and MA degrees are from a top eastern university.
Most clients bring or send me a hard copy, which I correct in red pen. I can also work online with scripts in Final Draft or Word.
