This is an older Spanish style house up for rent. It's one of two houses on the property. This front house does not share any walls or utilities with the back house. It's on the smaller side with older electrical (see below) so ideal for just one occupant, maximum 2.
Electrical:
- Original knob and tube wiring that provides a maximum of 30 amps to the entire house. A subpanel with modern breakers has been added, as well as GFCI outlets throughout for safety. But just be aware, the main fuse box is still just 30 amps, so you likely will be only be able to able to run two power hungry devices at the same time without tripping the breaker or fuse.
- New wall lights and ceiling fixtures
- New smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarm
AC:
- Does not have built-in AC, but you can add window units to the bedrooms during the summer.
Heat:
- Gas furnace in living room
- Gas water heater
Kitchen:
- Brand new kitchen cabinets, countertop, sink, faucet, and range hood with roof venting.
- Fridge is about 5 years old. Clean and looks like new.
- Older 4-burner gas range oven
Laundry:
- No laundry on site. There is a laundromat at the far end of the block, about 1/4 mile away.
Parking:
- Shares driveway with the house in the back (so must be kept clear) but each has a separate pull out spot in the backyard.
- Street parking also isn't too bad. Can typically find a spot within a 4-house radius.
Utilities:
- Water paid by landlord.
- Tenant pays for electricity, gas, garbage, and internet (Spectrum or AT&T)
